I was born in Bournemouth in 1991, and I later went on to study my art foundation (Art and Design) at the Arts University and College Bournemouth. I have recently completed a BA in Photography at the University of Brighton. My work uses photography as a means of playfulness, often exploring word plays, linguistic illogicalities and visual absurdities. In my latest body of work Finding Tom Calvert I follow a journey as written about by another Tom Calvert. I follow him up mountains, across lakes and down caves, using photography to highlight the absurdity and silliness of both what I saw and the initial proposition of the project.
My works been exhibited in galleries in London and Brighton, and has featured in a number of publications including the British Journal of Photography.
